Belif Sephora Exclusives
Korean skincare products have become so popular during the last few years, with no signs of slowing down. In fact, my current skincare drawer is filled with every Korean brand you could think of. Unfortunately, acquiring them wasn't so easy since we don't have a lot of selections here in North America. Lucky for us, today we're zeroing in on a Korean brand that you can easily find at Sephora.
BELIF
Let's familiarize ourselves with the brand first and foremost. What is so special about Belif? To sum it up, the brand can be described as simple, honest, and natural. Belif is dedicated to herbal studies, and strongly lives by herbal apothecary. The brand believes in using nature to extract ingredients, and using the purest, natural, time-tested herbs. To simply put it, the brand uses no synthetic preservatives, dyes, fragrances, mineral oil or animal ingredients. They believe in their product, and do so without the excessive marketing and packaging because they know it works - and it works well. As the tagline suggests : Believe in Truth.
The True Cream - Aqua Bomb - $47
This is a gel cream for the face. It is a lightweight, oil free cream that cools and refreshes the skin upon touch, while simultaneously providing users with intense hydration. My complexion is usually quite dull and dry during the winter months, but the gel instantly gave my skin a healthy glow. The gel base formula does not make my skin feel greasy despite having oily skin - which is an automatic win for me.
Ingredients Lady's Mantle: Antioxidant-rich herb with pore-minimizing benefits; helps remove free radicals from skin and aids skin turnaround. Malachite: Neutralizes free radical activity. Plantin: Creates moisture seal on skin. Oat Husk: Attracts moisture.
Aqua Bomb Mist - $42
The aqua bomb mist is a lightweight mist that keeps the skin glowing and hydrated throughout the day. It freshens up dull dry skin when needed, without smudging and ruining your existing make up. I am always afraid of mists that leaves the skin looking shiny and feeling sticky instead of hydrating, but I did not find this to be the case at all.
Ingredients Star Weed (Chick Weed) Extract: Hydrating and soothing herb known for its anti-inflammatory benefits. Lady's Mantle Extract (Alchemilla Vulgaris Leaf Extract): A moisturizing herb that keeps the complexion smooth, clear, and youthful-looking.
The True Cream - Moisturizing Bomb - $47
This cream tends to perform best on normal to dry skin, as it provides intense hydration from those suffering from the dry winter season. It has been tested to provide over 24 hours of hydration. The formula keeps the skin feeling soft and firm, without the stickiness found in a lot of hydrating formulas.
Ingredients Comfrey Leaf: Detoxifies skin, leaving it smooth, soft, and clear.
Pore Cleaner Bubble Foam - $45
This is a gel-to-foam wash off mask that aims to clarify pores and impurities, aiming to instantly clean and clear the skin. The fun part about using this product is watching the bubbles form on your face and slowly fizz out. This deep cleanse allows you to massage the bubbles into the skin and remove any build up and dead skin in the process.

Sebum Control Complex: Clarifying and soothing antioxidants rose hip, apple mint, and eucalyptus help to clarify pores and reduce sebum. Moringa Oil Extract: Powerful antioxidant known for its detoxifying and anti-bacterial properties.
Pore Foam Cleaner - $25
The pore cleaner aims to clean the skin while maintaining the proper balance of the skin's PH. The product starts off as a foam but becomes very velvety and soft to the touch when massaging into the skin. It cleans the face without stripping away the moisture, and aids with dull skin.
