Four Occasions x 66girls
For today's lookbook, I'll be putting together four looks for four different occasion. I'll be going through the following themes for today's collaboration with 66girls: Date, Shopping Trips, Work Wear, and Lazy Sundays. For those that are unfamiliar with the name, 66girls is the sister brand of HOTPING, a brand you may recall me reviewing two weeks ago. They are both established Korean clothing store that specializes in women apparel. As indicated on their website, they aim to associate their clothes with a energetic and healthy lifestyle, with comfort as their number one principle.
For this number, I wanted to create a day time look that is both flirty and tasteful. This is something I would wear if I plan on going on a date after work as I can easily pair this look with a blazer in the morning to make it more work appropriate. I choose pieces that were loose fitting so I could still keep it casual. I went with an all black theme so I used different textures to play up the outfit. I kept it flirty with a low cut top and a skirt that accentuates my waistline and finished off with my favourite 4 inch booties. I kept my accessories simple with a classic watch and some pearl accented hoop earrings.

Something I would wear for a day shopping downtown. I wanted it to be comfortable and practical so I went with a classy oversized dress shirt. They're easy to slip out of if I plan to try on a lot of clothes. I kept the outfit from looking too lazy and pulled the oversized dress shirt in with my corset suspenders. I finished off with my never full GM tote and my five inch platform booties that gives me both height and comfort for walking all day. I accessorized with matching moonstone piece (Necklace & Ring), mini hoop earrings and my arm candy staple from my previous look.

Work wear doesn't always have to be boring. For this look I went with the traditional attire worn for work but I added some fun elements to keep it playful. Again I went for an all black look and wore my loose fitting blazer with my criss cross detailed skinny jeans. For my afterwork look, I would take off my blazer to reveal a fun pop of purple from my lace printed cami. I finished off with my vintage navy Chanel bag and some sturdy Tory Burch flats.

This look most accurately describes what I like to wear the majority of the time. I love to keep my outfits comfortable and casual. This is something I would wear on a lazy morning or on the way to brunch with the girls. The oversized dress shirt has a loud and fun colour which stands nicely on its own. I matched this with my navy velvet lace up heels. I different want to overdo the accessory so I wore my favourite pearl drop hoop earrings as the only accent piece. I finished off the perfect sized bag for this occasion.

Disclaimer: Despite my collaboration with 66girls, this review only depicts my most honest opinion. All opinions are my own.
Shipping Time: My package arrived very quickly considering it traveled from Korea to Canada. It took about a week from when I placed my first order. My biggest concern about ordering clothes online from a website that's not local was the shipping time, as they tend to take about a months time if they come from Asia. I was throughly impress by the speed of the shipment.
Quality: All the clothes I choose from 66girls were on the thinner end because summer is approaching. With that being said I can only speak for their summer attire as I did not order their coats/jackets etc. The skirt I ordered was finely made with no shortcuts. The zipper was sturdy and studs showed no loose threads or fabric which really impressed me. My favourite from the haul were the oversized dress shirts. I've been looking for this loose fitting batwing style but it's hard to find locally. There was a bit of a strange factory smell that came with one of them, but it was easily solved from simply washing it before I wore it out. Their clothes on their website are 100% as advertised as they use their own images to advertise their clothes - this means you get what you expect to, not just a cheaply made version. This is the number one most important factor to me when ordering online.
True to Size: My two dress shirts and blazer were meant to be oversized and loose, so I found them to be -perfectly oversized- for what I was ordering. With that being said, I would not recommending ordering a size up to get the 'oversized' look, as this is already taken in account for. The skirt was true to size as it fits perfectly on the waist and flares out in a loose A line style. Price Point: Faux Pearl Drop Earring $9.50 Bow Neck Accent Stripe Shirt $24.60
I'd have to say that the pricing is very reasonable. Although it may seem more expensive compared to other online website - the quote "you get what you paid for" rings very true. My absolute favourite is the Striped Middy Collar Blouse, it's light and airy and quite intricately designed with pockets, extra buttons, etc. Definitely something I would actually pay more than $30 for if I found it at the mall. Another great deal is the skirt - It looks so high end with the metal accent pieces. The only item on the list I don't think is worth it would be the Suit Jacket since it felt a little thinner than I would have liked for it to be at $40.
66girls is a great online shopping choice for those looking to sport Korean Fashion at a reliable source. Their quick shipping time eliminates any worry about whether or not your package will arrive in time for you to enjoy it in the right season (the biggest problem I had when ordering online from other shops). The clothes are made as advertised and you get what you paid for. They have a fun sales event known as 66DAY that takes place three times a month (on the 6th, 16th, and the 26th) in which all items on their website are discounted 6% off for 24 hours. Their biggest event will be occurring from June 6 - June 12 so be on the look out! I would definitely recommend this site as I could see myself purchasing more from them in the future! Feel free to browse their website here.
